Grandparents Day at Des Moines Christian School

So today was a great Day!!! Daddy surprised Adele by showing up at the Grandparents Day Christmas Program at the school.
We didn't think he would be able to attend because of the work schedule. I think he must have gotten heckled by other moms working saying he cannot miss this performance.
Standing room only. We purchased our little performer a flower for her hair and a bouquet for Mrs. Hoogerworth, the music instructor!
Adele and I delivered the flowers before the performance and went to Stellas (a great 50s diner) where they poured a Strawberry milkshake on her head and then she had to open wide for a drink. She received a round of applause from other customers on achieving this feet!
Thank you Lord for our friends Mark and Amy Main. Isabella and Adele were standing next to each other and they came VERY EARLY to secure great seats and video taped the whole thing! Yeah! I love that you captured our daughters moments too! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

Oh Sandy, I remember being the stand in grandma last year and when I read this I sat crying at my desk. I miss everyone a lot but it's super hard to not be around all "my kids". I have new ones here but Adele is very special to me. Glad she had a good day and Paul made it there. Give her a kiss for me.

Since I did not make it to Grandparent Day, December 13, Adele, we will have a special grandparent WEEK when I am with you in January. OK, girlfriend?? Looking forward to seeing you in your elegant party dress!
