This is a picture of Adele sleeping on Penelope. This little fad started one day ago. On Saturday we had a nap. When I woke up, Adele was not napping with me in the bed but beside the bed on Penelope. She drug Penelope in from her room to our room. By the way, the dog is not light. It takes quite a bit of heft to move her from one location to the other. So she must have really wanted to sleep on her. We love you, Penelope!
Penelope was purchased in Bay City, MI by Daddy. She was on sale at the FAO Schwartz toy shop he had in his store. I think he must have had to bring her home in the back of the truck. It is great to see how you can buy something that children still love to use since they seem to outgrow toys/stuffed animals so quickly!
Tonight after we tucked her into bed and Paul read a devotional with her, we went in to shut off the lamp and check in on her. This is what we found. The poor bed lost to the big pink dog.
