July 29, Tuesday night, we went out to dinner at Rock Bottom. As we were sitting there, we both felt like we didn't want to pack but we were leaving at 6:00 am for the long road trip so it had to get done.
I came up with a brilliant idea! Instead of packing 2 bags (Adele and Sandy), I just wanted to pack one. So Paul and I decided to write a list down for Adele. While we were at the restaurant we wrote down on a piece paper, 3 sundresses, 2 jammies, 3 flipflops, 1 tennis shoes, 8-10 panties, 3 shorts, 6 shirts, toothbrush, shampoo, hairbrush, etc.
What a great packer she is! While Paul and I were packing, she was reading her list and doing her own packing! Heaven forbid if I came in to check in and start looking at what she was packing. (I secretly wanted to make sure I had a child with matched clothes if we were going to be out in public.) "I want to do this myself, mama" Yeah!!!!
All of the clothes were neatly layed in the landing ready to go. I did have the last mommy's check though. I ended up just leaving things the way they were but added one more shirt because there was a short that did not have anything to match.
It will be interesting this week to see what outfits she is matching together because there were some very interesting selections going on!
